Existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for nonlocal evolution equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
The aim of this article is to study the existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for a class of semilinear evolution equations with nonlocal initial conditions. The discussions are based on analytic semigroup theory and fixed point theorems.

Re‐Irradiation in Pediatric Diffuse Midline Glioma: A Multi‐Institutional Retrospective Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with recurrent diffuse midline gliomas (DMGs) have limited therapeutic options at recurrence. Re‐irradiation (RT2) may be used at progression, but with uncertainty about the benefit. Methods We conducted a multi‐institutional retrospective study of children aged < 18 with DMG treated at three centers (Toronto, Canada ...

Strong solutions to the stochastic quantization equations

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 2003
Let \(G=[0, 2 \pi ]^2\) and \(H=L^2(G)\). The authors consider stochastic quantization equations in space dimension 2 with periodic boundary conditions: \[ d X = ( AX + : p(X):) \,dt + d W(t), \quad X(0) = x \tag{1} \] where \(A : D(A) \subset H \to H\) is the linear operator \(A x = \varDelta x - x\), \(D(A) = H_{\#}^2(G)\).

A New Solution to the Strong CP Problem

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
We suggest a new solution to the strong CP problem. The solution is based on the proper use of the boundary conditions for the QCD-generating functional integral. We expand the perturbative boundary conditions to both perturbative and nonperturbative fields integrated into the QCD-generating functional integral.

Association Between Dinutuximab Beta Exposure and Post‐End‐of‐Treatment Survival in Neuroblastoma: A Weighted Patient‐Level Analysis of Three Clinical Studies

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

On one boundary-value problem related to internal flotation

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления
We study the problem of small motions of a system of immiscible ideal fluids with a free surface consisting of two domains: a domain of elastic ice and a domain of crushed ice. Elastic ice is modeled by an elastic plate.

SOLUTION APPROXIMATIONS FOR LYAPUNOV TYPE EQUATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH LINEAR STOCHASTIC EQUATIONS WITH UNBOUNDED COEFFICIENTS AND COUNTABLY INFINITE MARKOV JUMPS [PDF]

open access: yesFiabilitate şi Durabilitate, 2018
This paper discuses solution properties of the Lyapunov-type equations (LEs), associated with a class of linear stochastic equations with unbounded coefficients and countably infinite Markov jumps.

Well-posedness for 3D nematic liquid crystal flows with damping

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2020
The three-dimensional nematic liquid crystal flows with damping are considered in this paper. The existence and uniqueness of strong solutions for the 3D nematic liquid crystal flows with damping are proved for β ≥ 4 $\beta\geq4$ with any α > 0 $\alpha>0$

BMT4me En Español: Multisite Feasibility and Usability Testing of a Spanish‐Language mHealth Adherence Support App for Spanish‐Speaking Caregivers of Children After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cancer Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Medication nonadherence during the first 100 days after pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and during oncology treatment increases risk for complications. BMT4me is a caregiver‐facing mobile health (mHealth) application providing medication reminders, symptom tracking, and note‐taking features to support ...
