Magneto-micropolar fluid motion: global existence of strong solutions

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 1999
By using the spectral Galerkin method, we prove a result on global existence in time of strong solutions for the motion of magneto-micropolar fluid without assuming that the external forces decay with time. We also derive uniform in time estimates of the

Psychosocial Functioning After Pediatric Bone Sarcoma: Generic and Survivor‐Specific Outcomes in Adolescent and Young Adult Patients

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Pediatric bone sarcoma patients and survivors may experience psychosocial challenges related to childhood cancer after their intensive, body‐altering treatment. This cross‐sectional study aimed to evaluate generic and survivor‐specific psychosocial outcomes in a national cohort of pediatric bone sarcoma patients and survivors, and ...

Ironic Medications: A Narrative‐Based Psycho‐Educational Intervention to Explore Patient–Provider Communication in Adolescents With Haematological Cancer

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Adolescents with haematological malignancies face significant emotional and relational challenges, often accompanied by difficulties in communicating their needs within the healthcare context. To address these issues, a narrative‐based psycho‐educational intervention based on the creation and prescription of Ironic Medications was ...

Re‐Irradiation in Pediatric Diffuse Midline Glioma: A Multi‐Institutional Retrospective Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with recurrent diffuse midline gliomas (DMGs) have limited therapeutic options at recurrence. Re‐irradiation (RT2) may be used at progression, but with uncertainty about the benefit. Methods We conducted a multi‐institutional retrospective study of children aged < 18 with DMG treated at three centers (Toronto, Canada ...

Strong solutions to the stochastic quantization equations

open access: yesThe Annals of Probability, 2003
Let \(G=[0, 2 \pi ]^2\) and \(H=L^2(G)\). The authors consider stochastic quantization equations in space dimension 2 with periodic boundary conditions: \[ d X = ( AX + : p(X):) \,dt + d W(t), \quad X(0) = x \tag{1} \] where \(A : D(A) \subset H \to H\) is the linear operator \(A x = \varDelta x - x\), \(D(A) = H_{\#}^2(G)\).

A New Solution to the Strong CP Problem

open access: yesSymmetry, 2023
We suggest a new solution to the strong CP problem. The solution is based on the proper use of the boundary conditions for the QCD-generating functional integral. We expand the perturbative boundary conditions to both perturbative and nonperturbative fields integrated into the QCD-generating functional integral.

Association Between Dinutuximab Beta Exposure and Post‐End‐of‐Treatment Survival in Neuroblastoma: A Weighted Patient‐Level Analysis of Three Clinical Studies

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives The association between exposure to dinutuximab beta (DB) and event‐free survival (EFS) or overall survival (OS) of neuroblastoma patients was assessed using data collected during three clinical trials (five cohorts). Methods A systematic review (March 2026) was conducted to identify relevant studies (prospective; registered DB ...

Strong Solutions to 3D-Lagrangian Averaged Boussinesq System

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2020
Under suitable assumptions on the initial data, we prove the existence, uniqueness of the strong solutions to a regularized periodic three-dimensional Lagrangian averaged Boussinesq system, in a Sobolev spaces.

BMT4me En Español: Multisite Feasibility and Usability Testing of a Spanish‐Language mHealth Adherence Support App for Spanish‐Speaking Caregivers of Children After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cancer Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Medication nonadherence during the first 100 days after pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) and during oncology treatment increases risk for complications. BMT4me is a caregiver‐facing mobile health (mHealth) application providing medication reminders, symptom tracking, and note‐taking features to support ...
