Ostrowski and Simpson Type Inequalities for Strongly Reciprocally Convex Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this paper, we establish some new Ostrowski and Simpson type inequalities for the class of strongly reciprocally convex functions.

A class of strongly close-to-convex functions

open access: yesBoletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática, 2019
In this paper, we study a class of strongly close-to-convex functions $f(z)$ analytic in the unit disk $\mathbb{U}$ with $f(0)=0,f^{\prime }(0)=1$ satisfying for some convex function $g(z)$ the condition that\begin{equation*}\frac{zf^{\prime }(z)}{g(z)}\prec \left( \frac{1+Az}{1+Bz}\right) ^{m}\end{equation*}%\begin{equation*}\left( -1\leq A\leq 1,-1 ...

Soft Skins With Reversible Thickness Morphing: Materials, Mechanisms, and Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Evolution of electronic skin (e‐skin) technologies toward adaptive, multifunctional soft skins. Phase I highlights early rigid and discrete sensory interfaces. Phase II shows the transition toward flexible, stretchable, and large‐area e‐skin. Phase III captures the emergence of computational e‐skin.

On uniformly approximate convex and strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In the paper the equivalence of the notions of uniformly approximate convex functions and strongly alpha(.)-paraconvex functions will be presented. As a consequence we obtain that uniformly approximate convex functions are Frechet differentiable on ...

Counterexamples to Smoothing Convex Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
Greene and Wu have shown that any continuous strongly convex function on a Riemannian manifold can be uniformly approximated by infinitely differentiable strongly convex functions. This result is not true if the word “strongly” is omitted; in this paper,

Phase Diagrams Enable Solid‐State Battery Design

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Batteries are non‐equilibrium devices with inherent thermodynamic driving forces to react at interfaces, regardless of kinetics or operating conditions. Chemical potential mismatches across interfaces are dissipated via interfacial reactions. In this work, it is illustrated how phase diagrams and chemical potential maps predict degradation pathways but

High‐Power Rapid Laser‐Induced Synthesis of Multi‐functional Cobalt Metal‐Organic Framework With an Unprecedented Synthesis Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Laser‐assisted synthesis enables rapid (within 1 h) and high‐yield (≥90%) production of Co‐MOFs with mesoporous structures, tunable magnetic and optical properties, and efficient adsorption of N2, CH4, and CO2 for low‐energy gas separation. DFT calculations elucidate the electronic structure and adsorption behavior.

Some Perturbed Trapezoid Inequalities for n-times Differentiable Strongly log-Convex Functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The aim of this study is to introduce some inequalities for n-times differentiable strongly log-convex functions. The perturbed trapezoid inequality is used to establish the new inequalities.

Strongly F-Convex Functions with Structural Characterizations and Applications in Entropies

open access: yesAxioms
Strongly convex functions form a central subclass of convex functions and have gained considerable attention due to their structural advantages and broad applicability, particularly in optimization and information theory.
