Pair Formation in a t-J Model [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2008
We have investigated the formation of bound state of two electrons in different kind of lattices using a t-J-U model.

On the thermodynamics of strongly correlated integrable electron systems [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1999
We reexamine the Yang-Yang-Takahashi method of deriving the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations which describe strongly correlated electron systems of fundamental physical interest, such as the Hubbard, $s-d$ exchange (Kondo) and Anderson models. It is shown that these equations contain some additional terms which may play an important role in the ...

Magnetization Plateaux in Quasi-One-Dimensional Strongly Correlated Electron Systems: A Brief Review [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2000
This is a short review of recent theoretical work on magnetization plateaux in one-dimensional strongly correlated electron systems, i.e. in spin chains, spin ladders or more generally, Hubbard chains and ladders.

On the Problem of Validity of Anderson and Kondo Models in Physics of Strongly Correlated Electron Systems [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2015
We argue that the Anderson and Kondo models turn out to be irrelevant for the description of some strongly correlated electron systems and we suggest the mechanism for the formation of many-body states (heavy fermions) being an alternative to the Kondo one.

Electronic Properties Of Buckminsterfullerenes: Degeneracies and Surprises [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 1996
Buckminsterfullerene compounds exibit remarkable physics at low temperatures, e.g. high temperature superconductivity in alkali-fullerenes, and ferromagnetism in TDAE -C60. Here we review recent theoretical studies of electron correlations in these compounds.
