Tuning the Electronic Structure and Spin State of Fe─N─C Catalysts Using an Axial Oxygen Ligand and Fe Clusters for High‐Efficiency Rechargeable Zinc–Air Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A FeN4─O/Clu@NC‐0.1Ac catalyst containing atomically‐dispersed FeN4─O sites (medium‐spin Fe2+) and Fe clusters delivered a half‐wave potential of 0.89 V for ORR and an overpotential of 330 mV at 10 mA cm−2 for OER in 0.1 m KOH. When the catalyst was used in a rechargeable Zn–air battery, a power density of 284.5 mW cm−2 was achieved with excellent ...

Random and cyclic projection algorithms for strongly pseudomonotone variational inequalities

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
In this paper, we propose a random and cyclic projection algorithm for solving variational inequality problems with special structure where the underlying mapping is strongly pseudomonotone and L-Lipschitz continuous and the constraint set is the ...

Topological properties of strongly monotone planar vector fields

open access: yesMathematische Nachrichten, 2019
AbstractWe consider strongly monotone continuous planar vector fields with a finite number of fixed points. The fixed points fall into three classes, attractors, repellers and saddles. Naturally, the relative positions of the fixed points must obey a set of restrictions imposed by monotonicity.

Energy‐Efficient Bulk Photoalignment of Main‐Chain Liquid Crystalline Polymers Enabled by In Situ Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In situ monitoring of bulk photoalignment reveals how molecular weight, azobenzene content, cooling rate, and thickness govern ordering in main‐chain liquid crystalline polymers. Optimized copolymers exceed conventional thickness limits, maintaining stable alignment up to 130 µm with high energy efficiency and reversible optical patterning.

Convergence of Iterative Sequences for Fixed Point and Variational Inclusion Problems

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2011
An iterative process is considered for finding a common element in the fixed point set of a strict pseudocontraction and in the zero set of a nonlinear mapping which is the sum of a maximal monotone operator and an inverse strongly monotone mapping ...

Global Dynamics of Strongly Monotone Retarded Equations with Infinite Delay [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Integral Equations and Applications, 1992
Consider a functional delay differential equation \(\dot x=f(x_ t)\) with infinite delay where \(f\) is a function defined on a linear space \(X\) of functions \(\varphi:(-\infty,0]\to\mathbb{R}^ n\). The purpose of the paper is to present some axioms and assumptions on \(f\) and \(X\) in order to establish a strongly monotone solution operator.

Single Solid‐State Ion Channels as Potentiometric Nanosensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Single gold nanopores functionalized with mixed self‐assembled monolayers act as solid‐state ion channels for direct, selective potentiometric sensing of inorganic ions (Ag⁺). The design overcomes key miniaturization barriers of conventional ion‐selective electrodes by combining low resistivity with suppressed loss of active components, enabling robust

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.
