Enhancing printability of 3D printed concrete by using metakaolin and silica fume

Abstract This study investigates the effects of incorporating metakaolin (MK) and silica fume (SF) on the fresh and hardened properties of 3D printed concrete (3DPC). Five mix designs were prepared with MK replacement levels of 0%, 10%, 12.5%, and 15%, along with one mix containing 10% MK and 5% SF.

Advantageous snow conditions—in terms of snow depth and density—are among the most important features of the winter landscape for two apex predators, regardless of hunting strategy. This article explores the activities of daily life in a village neighbouring the TEPCO nuclear power plant in Fukushima. It argues that one of the potentials of taking a dwelling perspective – a phenomenological approach to living within the ecological and social environments – emerges most compellingly within a polluted landscape.
