Multistage SFM: Revisiting Incremental Structure from Motion [PDF]
In this paper, we present a new multistage approach for SfM reconstruction of a single component. Our method begins with building a coarse 3D reconstruction using high-scale features of given images. This step uses only a fraction of features and is fast.

Parallel Structure from Motion for Sparse Point Cloud Generation in Large-Scale Scenes
Scene reconstruction uses images or videos as input to reconstruct a 3D model of a real scene and has important applications in smart cities, surveying and mapping, military, and other fields.

Self-motion and the perception of stationary objects [PDF]
One of the ways we perceive shape is through seeing motion. Visual motion may be actively generated (for example, in locomotion), or passively observed.

Multi-body Non-rigid Structure-from-Motion [PDF]
Conventional structure-from-motion (SFM) research is primarily concerned with the 3D reconstruction of a single, rigidly moving object seen by a static camera, or a static and rigid scene observed by a moving camera --in both cases there are only one ...

A Skeletal Camera Network for Close-range Images with a Data Driven Approach in Analyzing Stereo Configuration [PDF]
Structure-from-Motion (SfM) techniques have been widely used for 3D geometry reconstruction from multi-view images. Nevertheless, the efficiency and quality of the reconstructed geometry depends on multiple factors, i.e., the base-height ratio ...
