Structure−Property Relationships in Dendritic Encapsulation
Accounts of Chemical Research, 2000Several molecular structure-property relationships are presented and compared to illustrate our current understanding of macromolecular encapsulation using dendrimers. Specifically, the effect that dendrimer architectures have on encapsulating photoactive and redox-active units fixed at the molecular core is considered.

Structure/Property Relationships
2002Abstract This chapter examines the effect of heat treating and other processes on the microstructure-property relationships that occur in superalloys. It discusses precipitation and grain-boundary hardening and how they influence the phases, structures, and properties of various alloys.

Structure–Property Relationships
2012The chemical structures of polymers are characterized by two levels of essential factors that determine physical properties: the driving-force factors include chain semi-flexibility and complex inter-chain interactions; and the restriction factors include molecular weights and their distributions, topological architectures, and sequence irregularities.

Structure-Properties Relationships
2016This chapter explores the correlations between the microstructures of hard, superhard and ultrahard materials and resulting properties. Key microstructure features and their effect on mechanical properties (hardness, fracture toughness, strength, wear and thermal properties) are discussed.

Structure–property relationships in metallosurfactants
Soft Matter, 2010The morphology of micelles formed by three sub-classes of metallosurfactants—those with macrocyclic, linear and gemini head groups—has been studied by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) for a series of metal- and counter-ions. All the data may be described by a model that invokes a globular micelle morphology in which the dimensions of the micelle ...

Biorecognizable polymers: Structure‐properties relationship
Macromolecular Symposia, 1995AbstractThe biocompatibility of polymers depends on their chemical composition, as well as physical and physico‐chemical structure. However, biocompatibility is not an intrinsic polymer property since it relates to a particular localization of the polymer in the living organism. Any foreign macromolecule may be recognized by the living organism as “non‐

Explorations of Molecular Structure-Property Relationships
SAR and QSAR in Environmental Research, 1999The problem of the relationship between the structure of a molecule and its physical, chemical, and biological properties is one of the most fundamental in chemistry. Three molecular structure-property studies are discussed as illustrations of different approaches to this problem.
