DDX3X: structure, physiologic functions and cancer
The DEAD-box helicase family member DDX3X (DBX, DDX3) functions in nearly all stages of RNA metabolism and participates in the progression of many diseases, including virus infection, inflammation, intellectual disabilities and cancer.

ABSTRACT Introduction Characterizing stressful events reported by childhood cancer survivors experienced throughout the lifespan may help improve trauma‐informed care relevant to the survivor experience. Methods Participants included 2552 survivors (54% female; 34 years of age) and 469 community controls (62% female; 33 years of age) from the St.

Structure functions for light nuclei
We discuss the nuclear EMC effect with particular emphasis on recent data for light nuclei including 2H, 3He, 4He, 9Be, 12C and 14N. In order to verify the consistency of available data, we calculate the \chi^2 deviation between different data sets.

Spin Structure Functions in Chiral Quark Soliton Models [PDF]
In this talk I review studies of hadron structure functions in bosonized chiral quark models. Such models require regularization and I show that the two--fold Pauli--Villars regularization scheme not only fully regularizes the effective action but also ...

ABSTRACT Purpose Patient activation—encompassing knowledge, confidence, and skills in managing individual's health—is a cornerstone of person‐centered care. However, its significance among childhood, adolescent, and young adult cancer survivors (CAYACS) remains unexplored. This article examines the application of the 13‐item Patient Activation Measure (

Dynamic versus Static Hadronic Structure Functions [PDF]
"Static" structure functions are the probabilistic distributions computed from the square of the light-front wavefunctions of the target hadron. In contrast, the "dynamic" structure functions measured in deep inelastic lepton-hadron scattering include ...

Abstract Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is an autosomal recessive hemoglobinopathy affecting millions of individuals worldwide. The clinical expression and psychosocial burden of SCD vary widely across geographical, cultural, and healthcare system contexts, underscoring the need for setting‐specific approaches to assessment.

Fine Stability Properties of the Hankel and Wiener–Khinchin Transforms
The Fourier transform is continuous in the weak sense of tempered distribution; this ensures the weak stability of Fourier pairs. This article investigates a stronger form of stability of the pair of homogeneous profiles (|x|−α,cd|ξ|d−α) on Rd that ...
