Abstract Since the expansion of higher education began, student motivation and institutional choice have been widely studied, yet the reasons behind high dropout rates in public institutions in Central and Eastern Europe remain poorly understood. In our research, we sought to answer the question of what subjective

ABSTRACT Traditional wearable exoskeletons rely on rigid structures, which limit comfort, flexibility, and everyday usability. This work introduces the fundamental technologies to create the first soft, lightweight, intelligent textile‐based exoskeletons (Texoskeletons) built using 1D sensors and actuators.

Factors affecting the probability of first-year medical student dropout in the UK : a logistic analysis for the entry cohorts of 1980-1992 [PDF]
Objectives: To assess the extent to which various factors influence the probability that anindividual medical student will drop out of medical school during their first year of study, focussing on the influence both of prior qualifications, such as A ...

Develop a LiCl–PEI–PAM hydrogel with 3000% stretchability and excellent optical transparency. Through comparative studies of various salts, confirm that LiCl is the most suitable salt for high TENG output. Achieve excellent freeze‐resistant, dry‐resistant, and rapid self‐healing (10 s) properties even in extreme environments. Balance ionic conductivity,

Exit Exams and High School Dropout [PDF]
In this paper, I consider the impact of the expansion of exams students must pass in order to graduate high school on dropout rates. "Exit exams," as these tests are known, have become more common, and more difficult.

Gone for Good? Determinants of School Dropout in Southern Italy [PDF]
The aim of the present paper is to gain some insight into the causes of dropping out of school and, more generally, of the factors that induce parents to review their choices about their child’s schooling careers.

Trajectories preceding student dropout
In this chapter we use a process approach to better understand dropout from higher education. In our approach we combine theory on student attrition with theory on micro-level identity development, and study trajectories of exploration and commitment in an intensive longitudinal study spanning several months.

A fully flexible ion‐gel‐gated graphene‐channel transistor driven by a triboelectric nanogenerator enables self‐powered tactile sensing and synaptic learning. Mimicking spike‐rate‐dependent plasticity, the device exhibits frequency‐selective potentiation and depression, supporting rate‐coded neuromorphic computation even under flex.
