3D Hydrodynamic Flow Lithography
ABSTRACT Continuous‐ and stop‐flow lithography are widely used to fabricate multi‐dimensional microstructures whose cross‐sectional morphology is dictated by the flow profile of multiple co‐flowing streams. Here, we introduce three‐dimensional hydrodynamic flow lithography (3D HFL), a platform for programmable generation of multi‐layered flow profiles ...

A regenerated cellulose (RC) hydrogel‐based SERS substrate integrating a Marangoni‐transferred gold nanoparticle self‐assembled monolayer (Au‐SAM) is fabricated. Reswelling‐induced hotspot formation enhances polystyrene micro/nanoplastics (PS MNPs) detection in complex matrices, providing reproducible, high‐throughput SERS signals across diverse ...

Network Topology Governs Photocatalytic Water Splitting in Organic Two‐Dimensional Crystals
Network topology in organic two‐dimensional crystals (O2DCs) dictates the photocatalytic water splitting performance. Kagome‐lattice O2DCs exhibit strong electron‐hole mass asymmetry, spatially separated carriers, and longer recombination lifetimes, exceeding rhombic isomers.

In this work, we use direct ink writing (DIW) to 3D print Bi2Te3‐based materials and naturally induce hierarchical functional nanostructures, which reduced the lattice thermal conductivity by half, resulting in high zT of 0.87and 0.89 in p‐type and n‐type compounds, respectively, competitive with commercial materials.

STUDENT SATISFACTION IN HIGHER EDUCATION: FACTORS AFFECTING ENGINEERING STUDENTS’ SATISFACTION
ICERI Proceedings, 2019Student satisfaction, as a good indicator of the ability colleges have in attracting new and retaining existing students, is constantly gaining importance in an economy evermore focused on higher educated workers. Faculties in various fields are recognizing the role student satisfaction plays in its students’ overall motivation and, consequently, their

The commuter student and student satisfaction
Research in Higher Education, 1980This study examined the variables associated with student satisfaction on a commuter campus. A sample of 38 classes was used and resulted in 782 undergraduates responding to questionnaires. The variables included were: age, student level, student's grade, perception of educational benefits, and satisfaction with college experience.

Satisfaction of ABET Student Outcomes
Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE Global Engineering Education Conference (EDUCON), 2012Direct assessment of Student Outcomes (SOs) in various courses is a requirement for ABET accreditation. What students learn as a consequence of these assessments is also called outcome based learning. However, designing questions in various subjects that directly assess the satisfaction of SOs is difficult for most instructors. If the questions are not

Students' satisfaction with their university accommodation
Nordic Psychology, 2014There has been little research on students' satisfaction with the spaces making up their university accommodation. Our study takes a systemic perspective whereby the university accommodation can only be seen within a broader environment, namely the neighbourhood, to (a) compare students' satisfaction with their university accommodation according to its

Changing Student Outcomes Without Sacrificing Student Satisfaction
Journal of Nursing Education, 2021Background: Faculty teaching a large class size implemented evidence-based teaching strategies (EBTS) to improve mastery of core concepts in an accelerated undergraduate pediatric nursing course. Method: Pre- and poststudent outcomes were analyzed using data from course assessments ...
