Establishing Atomic Coherence in Twisted Oxide Membranes Containing Volatile Elements
Twisted oxide membranes containing volatile elements often suffer from amorphous interfacial dead layers that suppress coupling. An oxygen‐annealing strategy establishes atomically coherent and chemically bonded interfaces in twisted NaNbO3 membranes, enabling coherent oxide moiré architectures in volatile‐element‐containing systems.

Endoscopic suture-based closure of a dehiscent rectal stump [E-Video] [PDF]
Lower anterior rectal resection (LAR) with discontinuity resection is performed to avoid leakage of the colorectal anastomosis in high risk patients [1]. Unfortunately, rectal stump leakage can occur, and reoperation is associated with high morbidity and

Factitious Disorder Presenting with Refractory Enterocutaneous Fistula that Underwent 7 Surgeries
The formation of a post-appendicectomy fistula is rare but devastating. Major etiological factors include leakage from the appendiceal stump, neoplasm of the appendix and/or cecum, infection, inflammatory bowel disease, and distal obstruction.

Grafted Low‐Leakage Si/AlN p‐n Diodes Enabled by Fluorinated AlN Interface
This work demonstrates a fluorination‐based interface engineering strategy that transforms oxygen‐terminated AlN surfaces into fluorine‐terminated interfaces for grafted p‐Si/n‐AlN diodes. By combining pseudo‐ALE oxide removal, XeF2 fluorination, and ultrathin SiNx stabilization, the engineered interface suppresses defect‐assisted reverse leakage by ...

Flexible Wide Bandgap Electrode System for In situ Cell Sensing and Irreversible Electroporation
The paper reports the design and wafer‐level microfabrication of a long‐lived, flexible 3C‐SiC electrode capable of sensitive and in situ cell sensing, as well as electroporation ablation. The work demonstrates a biocompatible and durable electrode platform that can perform reliable electrical interfacing with biological tissues over extended periods ...

Pancreaticogastrostomy: Effect of Partial Gastrectomy on the Pancreatic Stump in Rabbits [PDF]
To assess the influence of digestive juice on the pancreatic stump when pancreaticogastrostomy was performed after pancreatoduodenectomy, the pancreatic stump was anastomosed to the intact stomach (group I), the stomach after partial gastrectomy (group ...

Transection of a Coopdech bronchial blocker tip during bronchial resection for right upper lobectomy: a case report [PDF]
A bronchial blocker (BB) is preferred for lung separation in patients with difficult airways. However, BBs, unlike double-lumen tubes, must be placed in the bronchus of the lung being operated on, hence can be damaged by surgical manipulation. Intubation

3D‐Nanoprinted Fluidically Steerable Soft Robotic Microcatheters
This work introduces a ∼3‐French (1 mm‐in‐diameter) soft robotic microcatheter fabricated by means of two‐photon direct laser writing. The 3D‐printed microcatheter enables remote, on‐demand steering via microfluidic actuation for guidewire‐free navigation of vascular networks as well as microcatheter‐mediated delivery of fluidic payloads to target ...
