Enzymatic Behavior of Condoliase in Porcine Nucleus Pulposus: Ex Vivo and In Vitro Assessment
Condoliase digested chondroitin sulfate locally, and did not digest the collagen fibers that form the supportive architecture of the nucleus pulposus. ABSTRACT Background Condoliase is a treatment for lumbar disc herniation. This enzyme exerts its medicinal effects by digesting chondroitin sulfate (CS), which is abundant in the nucleus pulposus ...

ABSTRACT Rivers of the northern Great Plains have lacked long‐term, continuous water temperature assessments, and there is limited information on thermal regimes of these systems and factors driving water temperature. We collected and assembled 2001–2022 water temperature data from 18 sites on four reaches of three rivers that differ in anthropogenic ...

Reviewing human dimensions of wild turkey hunting research and synthesizing future directions
We conducted a systematic literature review to better understand the human dimensions of wild turkey hunting. Our findings suggest that the average wild turkey hunter is older (~50 years old) than hunters overall (median = 35–44 years old) and indicate less female participation (~94% male) compared to hunters overall (77% male).
