The study of gravitational collapse model in higher dimensional space-time

open access: yes, 2002
We investigate the end state of the gravitational collapse of an inhomogeneous dust cloud in higher dimensional space-time. The naked singularities are shown to be developing as the final outcome of non-marginally bound collapse.

Screening of nuclear pairing in nuclear and neutron matter

open access: yes, 2005
The screening potential in the $^1S_0$ and $^3S_1$ pairing channels in neutron and nuclear matter in different approximations is discussed. It is found that the vertex corrections to the potential are much stronger in nuclear matter than in neutron ...

Luther's songs, I argue, are activated in their being voiced—voice, here, understood in a non‐metaphorical mode, as the material utterance of a singing

An unexpected late paroxyclaenid (Mammalia, Cimolesta) out of Europe: dental evidence from the Oligocene of the Bugti Hills, Pakistan

open access: yesPapers in Palaeontology, Volume 10, Issue 6, November/December 2024.
Abstract Eight isolated mammal molars were discovered in lower Oligocene deposits of the Bugti Hills, Pakistan (Paali Nala, DB‐C2; lower Chitarwata Formation). Because of their unusual morphology, these molars have long remained enigmatic. Extensive comparisons with fossil eutherian and metatherian mammals and the recent description of new ...
