This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

Michel Foucault's work and way of thinking of the late 1970s was marked by a fundamental turn, which was probably much more than the 'shift' he was speaking of at the very end of his life.

Nuclear prothymosin α inhibits epithelial‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in lung cancer by increasing Smad7 acetylation and competing with Smad2 for binding to SNAI1, TWIST1, and ZEB1 promoters. In early‐stage cancer, ProT suppresses TGF‐β‐induced EMT, while its loss in the nucleus in late‐stage cancer leads to enhanced EMT and poor prognosis.

Style-Friendly SNR Sampler for Style-Driven Generation [PDF]
Recent text-to-image diffusion models generate high-quality images but struggle to learn new, personalized styles, which limits the creation of unique style templates. In style-driven generation, users typically supply reference images exemplifying the desired style, together with text prompts that specify desired stylistic attributes.

First problem of globalization in the theory of dynamical systems admitting the normal shift of hypersurfaces [PDF]
Formula for the force field of Newtonian dynamical systems admitting the normal shift of hypersurfaces in Riemannian manifolds is considered. Problem of globalization for geometric structures associated with this formula is studied.

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Challenging Assumptions in Learning Generic Text Style Embeddings [PDF]
Recent advancements in language representation learning primarily emphasize language modeling for deriving meaningful representations, often neglecting style-specific considerations. This study addresses this gap by creating generic, sentence-level style embeddings crucial for style-centric tasks.

Breast cancer metastasis is associated with myeloid cell dysregulation and the lung‐specific accumulation of tumor‐supportive Gr1+ cells. Gr1+ cells support metastasis, in part, through a CHI3L1‐mediated mechanism, which can be targeted and inhibited with cargo‐free, polymeric nanoparticles.
