TGF‐β1 stimulation downregulates lysosomal channel TRPML1 in pulmonary fibroblasts. The TRPML1 agonist ML‐SA5 suppressed fibroblast‐to‐myofibroblast activation and collagen production. Mechanistically, ML‐SA5 inhibited mTOR phosphorylation, restored autophagic flux, and its effects were enhanced by rapamycin (mTOR inhibitor) and reversed by MHY1485 ...

In vitro generation of regulatory T cells: A challenging tool for studying immune aging in humans
In vitro induction of human regulatory T cells using standard protocols generates suppressive, Foxp3‐expressing CD4+ T cells independently of TGF‐β supplementation and donor age. Regulatory T (Treg) cells play a key role in immune tolerance and homeostasis.

Style Transfer for Headshot Portraits [PDF]
Headshot portraits are a popular subject in photography but to achieve a compelling visual style requires advanced skills that a casual photographer will not have. Further, algorithms that automate or assist the stylization of generic photographs do not perform well on headshots due to the feature-specific, local retouching that a professional ...

Content and Style Disentanglement for Artistic Style Transfer
2019 IEEE/CVF International Conference on Computer Vision (ICCV), 2019Artists rarely paint in a single style throughout their career. More often they change styles or develop variations of it. In addition, artworks in different styles and even within one style depict real content differently: while Picasso's Blue Period displays a vase in a blueish tone but as a whole, his Cubist works deconstruct the object.

Due to fast scanning response and strong damage resistance, Quick Response (QR) code has been used widely in product tracking, item identification, time tracking, document management, and general marketing. The standard QR code consisting of black and white modules, has the following defects: the monotonous color pattern and the poor visual effect.

Style Transfer Based on Style Primitive Discovery
2018Example-based stylization provides a direct way of making artistic effects for images. However existing methods are not suitable for artistic applications like Chinese embroidery. In this paper, we propose an example-based non-rigid image stylization method tailored for Chinese embroidery art. To this aim, a novel style transfer framework is presented,

Font Style Transfer Using Neural Style Transfer and Unsupervised Cross-domain Transfer
2019In this paper, we study about font generation and conversion. The previous methods dealt with characters as ones made of strokes. On the contrary, we extract features, which are equivalent to the strokes, from font images and texture or pattern images using deep learning, and transform the design pattern of font images.

We, humans, have the ability to easily imagine scenes that depict sentences such as “Today is a beautiful sunny day” or “There is a Christmas feel, in the air”. While it is hard to precisely describe what one person may imagine, the essential high-level themes associated with such sentences largely remains the same.
