Comparative leaf anatomy of neotropical Stylogyne species (Myrsinoideae - Primulaceae) [PDF]

open access: yesRodriguesia, 2013
Anatomical studies were performed here in order to provide diagnostic characteristics to differentiate the species Stylogyne depauperata, S. pauciflora, S. sordida and S. warmingii. Fully expanded leaves were processed by the usual techniques of optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy.

RADseq resolves the phylogeny of Hawaiian Myrsine (Primulaceae) and provides evidence for hybridization

open access: yesJournal of Systematics and Evolution, Volume 58, Issue 6, Page 823-840, November 2020., 2020
The Hawaiian radiation of Myrsine (Primulaceae) is the only one among the ten most species‐rich Hawaiian plant lineages that has never been included in a phylogenetic analysis. Based on RADseq we resolved the relationships of Hawaiian Myrsine with high support. Quartet Sampling and HyDe analyses reveal phylogenetic incongruence throughout the phylogeny

Envelope tests for spatial point patterns with and without simulation

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2016., 2016
Abstract Model testing is a central step of spatial point pattern analysis, which allows ecologists to judge if their data agree with ecological hypotheses. We present a simple and elegant solution of a challenging problem: the construction of a goodness‐of‐fit envelope test with prescribed significance level α. Our new Analytical Global Envelope (AGE)
