SU(2) × SU(2) symmetry breaking and η → 3π

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1969
Abstract The hadron energy density discussed in a previous investigation of the relation between the breaking of chiral SU(2) × SU(2) symmetry and the Cabibbo angle θ is shown to yield η → πo πo πo and η → → π+ πo π− decay amplitudes which are in reasonably good agreement with experiment.

Composite model with confining SU(N) × SU(2)L × SU(2)R hypercolor

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1983
Abstract A model of composite quarks and leptons is constructed with confining SU( N ) × SU(2) L × SU(2) R hypercolor interactions such that only standard quark and lepton families appear in global SU(2) L × SU(2) R doublets. Several generations are admitted by the anomaly-matching conditions and labeled by a discrete axial symmetry.

Scotogenic mechanism from an extended SU(2)1 × SU(2)2 × U(1) Y electroweak symmetry

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose an extension of the electroweak sector of the Standard Model in which the gauge group SU(2) L is promoted to SU(2)1 × SU(2)2. This framework naturally includes a viable dark matter candidate and generates neutrino masses radiatively à la ...

Implementation of finite state logic machines via the dynamics of atomic systems

open access: yesResults in Optics
Following the success of Moore’s predictions, we are approaching a limit in the miniaturization of semiconductors for computing materials. This has led to the exploration of various research paths in search of alternative computing paradigms, such as ...

SU(4)C×SU(2)L×SU(2)R models with C-parity

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
AbstractWe construct supersymmetric SU(4)C×SU(2)L×SU(2)R models with spontaneously broken left–right symmetry (C-parity). The minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) can be recovered at low scales by exploiting the missing partner mechanism. The field content is compatible with realistic fermion masses and mixings, proton lifetime is close to or ...
