Equilibrium Reward for Liquidity Providers in Automated Market Makers

open access: yesMathematical Finance, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We find the equilibrium contract that an automated market maker (AMM) offers to their strategic liquidity providers (LPs) in order to maximize the order flow that gets processed by the venue. Our model is formulated as a leader–follower stochastic game, where the venue is the leader and a representative LP is the follower.

Super and subsolutions for elliptic equations on all of ℝn

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2002
By construction sub and supersolutions for the following semilinear elliptic equation −△u(x)=λg(x)f(u(x)), x∈ℝn which arises in population genetics, we derive some results about the theory of existence of solutions as well as asymptotic properties of the

Sub-supersolutions in a variational inequality related to a sandpile problem [PDF]

open access: yesThe ANZIAM Journal, 2006
AbstractIn this paper we study a variational inequality in which the principal operator is a generalised Laplacian with fast growth at infinity and slow growth at 0. By defining appropriate sub-and super-solutions, we show the existence of solutions and extremal solutions of this inequality above the subsolutions or between the sub- and super-solutions.

On necessary conditions for the comparison principle and the sub- and supersolution method for the stationary Kirchhoff equation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Physics, 2018
In this paper, we propose a counterexample to the validity of the comparison principle and of the sub- and supersolution method for nonlocal problems like the stationary Kirchhoff equation. This counterexample shows that in general smooth bounded domains in any dimension, these properties cannot hold true if the nonlinear nonlocal term M(u2) is ...

Qualitative properties of solutions to parabolic anisotropic equations, part II — The anisotropic Trudinger's equation

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 114, Issue 1, July 2026.
Abstract We study the local regularity properties of weak solutions to a special class of anisotropic doubly nonlinear parabolic operators, whose prototype is the anisotropic Trudinger's equation ut−∑i=1NDiu2−pi|Diu|pi−2Diu=0,u⩾0.$$\begin{equation*} u_t- \sum \limits _{i=1}^N D_i{\left(u^{2-p_i}|D_i u|^{p_i-2} D_i u\right)}=0,\qquad u\geqslant 0.

Multiplicity of positive weak solutions to subcritical singular elliptic Dirichlet problems

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
We study a superlinear subcritical problem at infinity of the form $-\Delta u=a(x) u^{-\alpha}+f(\lambda,x,u)$ in $\Omega$, $u=0$ on $\partial\Omega$, $u>0$ in $\Omega$, where $\Omega$ is a bounded domain in $\mathbb{R}^{n}$, $0\leq a\in L^{\infty ...

A Sub‐Supersolution Method for p‐Laplacian Equation with Non‐Local Term

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, 2022
This paper is concerned with the existence of solutions for p‐Laplace problems with non‐local term. We prove the sub‐supersolution theorem using the pseudomonotone operator theorem and Minty–Browder theorem with appropriate assumptions on M, gi(i = 1,2).

Spreading Speed for a Vector‐Borne Disease System on Non‐Coincident Straight Infinite Cylinders

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, Volume 156, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Vector‐borne diseases remain an increasing global public health concern. In this work, we investigate the spreading speed of vector‐borne disease via a four‐component reaction–diffusion system posed on non‐coincident straight infinite cylinders, which stands for an unconventional spatial configuration.

The existence of positive solutions for Kirchhoff-type problems via the sub-supersolution method [PDF]

open access: yesAnalele Universitatii "Ovidius" Constanta - Seria Matematica, 2018
Abstract In this paper we discuss the existence of a solution between wellordered subsolution and supersolution of the Kirchhoff equation. Using the sub-supersolution method together with a Rabinowitz-type global bifurcation theory, we establish the existence of positive solutions for Kirchhoff-type problems when the nonlinearity is ...

Multiplicity of nonnegative solutions for semilinear Robin problems involving sign‐changing nonlinearities

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 58, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract In this article, we investigate the existence and multiplicity of solutions to the Robin problem −Δu=λf(u)inΩ,∂u∂ν+γu=0on∂Ω,$$\begin{equation*} {\begin{cases} -\Delta u = \lambda f(u) & \text{in } \Omega,\\ \frac{\partial u}{\partial \nu } + \gamma u=0 & \text{on } \partial \Omega, \end{cases}} \end{equation*}$$where Ω⊂RN$\Omega \subset ...
