Sub-Nyquist Interferometry -- Review and Status
Workshop on Optical Fabrication and Testing, 1987Sub-Nyquist interferometry (SNI) is a new method of data analysis for phase-shifting interferometry (PSI) that greatly extends the measurement range of an interferometer for a given amount of data.1 This paper reviews the concept and principles of SNI, and details the progress towards a practical implementation of the technique.

Sub-Nyquist sampling of NTSC video
IEEE 1988 International Conference on Consumer Electronics Digest of Technical Papers., 2003For deghosting purposes, both the in-phase and quadrature parts of the vestigial sideband TV signal are needed. This new scheme can reduce the sampling rate to lower than the Nyquist rate of either part. It comprises sampling rate reduction and complex signal processing for signal recovery. >
