Design and analysis of RbBeBr3−xIx (x=0–3) lead-free perovskites: Tunable mechanical and optoelectronic properties via iodine substitution

open access: yesNano Trends
This study presents a first-principles analysis of the structural, mechanical, and optoelectronic properties of the lead-free perovskite series RbBeBr3−xIx (x=0, 1, 2, 3) using density functional theory.

One Metasurface for Four‐Channel Terahertz Wavefront Manipulation Based on Vanadium Dioxide

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 4, April 2026.
This article presents a thermally reconfigurable metasurface utilizing vanadium dioxide (VO2) to dynamically switch between four independent wavefront‐manipulation channels. By synergizing geometric and propagation phases, the platform enables spin‐decoding for circularly polarized waves and polarization multiplexing for linearly polarized waves ...

The contour deformation method in momentum space, applied to subatomic physics [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 2004
Summary: A generalized contour deformation method (CDM), which combines complex rotation and translation in momentum space, is discussed. CDM gives accurate calculation of two-body spectral structures: bound, antibound, resonant and continuum states forming a Berggren basis. It provides a basis for full off-shell \(t\)-matrix calculations both for real

Trading Zones Between Thick and Thin: Anthropological Description as Scaffold or Mosaic

open access: yesAmerican Anthropologist, Volume 128, Issue 1, Page 159-170, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Referring to the work of historian of science Peter Galison, I argue that anthropology requires thin description as an essential counterpart for thick description. Thin accounts provide the scaffolding within which thick descriptions sit. Galison uses the idea of a “trading zone” connecting different communities who, despite their differences (

Entanglement Swapping for Partially Entangled Qudits and the Role of Quantum Complementarity

open access: yesAdvanced Quantum Technologies, Volume 9, Issue 2, February 2026.
The entanglement swapping protocol is extended to partially entangled qudit states and analyzed through complete complementarity relations. Analytical bounds on the average distributed entanglement are established, showing how the initial local predictability and entanglement constrain the operational distribution.

Status and prospects for CPT and Lorentz invariance violation searches in neutral meson mixing

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2015
An overview of current experimental bounds on CPT violation in neutral meson mixing is given. New values for the CPT asymmetry in the B0 and Bs0 systems are deduced from published BaBar, Belle and LHCb results.

Whipped and Mixed Warm Clouds in the Deep Sea

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Abstract Turbulence is indispensable to redistribute nutrients for all life forms larger than microbial, on land and in the ocean. Yet, the development of deep‐sea turbulence was not studied in three dimensions to date. As a disproportionate laboratory, an array of nearly 3,000 high‐resolution temperature sensors had been installed for three years on ...

Probing the QCD θ ¯ $$ \overline{\theta} $$ term with paramagnetic molecules

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The experimental search for CP violation in paramagnetic atomic and molecular systems has made impressive progress in recent years. This has led to strong upper limits on the electron electric dipole moment.
