On the subdivision of the genusCeratocystis
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 1975The desirability is discussed of a subdivison of the genus Ceratocystis into a group characterized by the presence of a phialidic conidial state, and a group in which the conidia are usually produced exogenously. Corroborative evidence for this arrangement is found in the carbohydrate constitution of the cells: in all examined species of the former ...

Graphs and Combinatorics, 2007
Let H be a multigraph and G a graph containing a subgraph isomorphic to a subdivision of H, with S ⊂ V(G) (the ground set) the image of V(H) under the isomorphism. We consider connectivity and minimum degree or degree sum conditions sufficient to imply there is a spanning subgraph of G isomorphic to a subdivision of H on the same ground set S.

Regularity of Irregular Subdivision
Constructive Approximation, 1999The paper is concerned with the irregular case of a univariate subdivision scheme; here not only the original samples are nonequally spaced, but also the new grid points introduced by the subdivision scheme need not to be in the middle between the old ones. The aim of the paper is to study the regularity of limit functions of such irregular subdivision.
