High‐temperature interactions between low‐sulfur Al‐killed Mn–B steel and MgO–C refractories (0 and 50 wt% recyclates) are studied via finger immersion tests (1600 °C). Surface‐active elements influence infiltration. MgO/CaS layer forms, along with spinel and calcium silicate.

Domination parameters of a graph with added vertex [PDF]
Let \(G=(V,E)\) be a graph. A subset \(D\subseteq V\) is a total dominating set of \(G\) if for every vertex \(y\in V\) there is a vertex \(x\in D\) with \(xy\in E\).

Accuracy and safety of tablet subdivision
Introduction Tablet subdivision is a common practice among patients and doctors. Tablets can be divided into smaller parts to obtain the desired dose and adjust this dose to the actual needs of the patient.

An interpolatory subdivision algorithm for surfaces over arbitrary triangulations [PDF]
In this paper, an interpolatory subdivision algorithm for surfaces over ar-bitrary triangulations is introduced and its convergence properties over nonuni-form triangulations studied.

Stabilization of L‐PBF Ni50.7Ti49.3 under low‐cycle loading was investigated. Recoverable strain after cycling was dependent on the amount of applied load. Recovery ratio was 53.4% and 35.1% at intermediate and high load, respectively. The maximum total strain reached 10.3% at a high load of 1200 MPa.

The presented study focuses on the fracture behaviour of carbon‐bonded magnesia MgO–C refractories, where environmentally friendly fructose, collagen and lignin serve as temporary binding agents. The partial substitution of the source material with recycled MgO–C reduces the fracture resistance, which can be counteracted by the additional introduction ...

Four‐point bending tests are conducted in an argon atmosphere on commercial MgO‐C brick grades with and without MgO‐C recyclate from room temperature up to 1300 °C. No detrimental effect of the MgO‐C recyclates on bending strength is found. Instead, a decisive influence of the total carbon content is observed, with lower total carbon contents ...

On Subdivision of Cycles with Two Blocks in Chromatic Digraphs Spanned by Hamiltonian Directed Paths
Let C be an oriented cycle with two blocks and let n denote the number of its vertices. We show that every (n+2)-chromatic digraph spanned by a Hamiltonian directed path contains a subdivision of C. This bound is tight.
