A Mid‐Crustal Channel of Positive Radial Anisotropy Beneath the Eastern South China Block From F‐J Multimodal Ambient Noise Tomography

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 51, Issue 18, 28 September 2024.
Abstract We investigated the crustal radial anisotropy in the eastern South China Block (ESCB) with the F‐J multimodal ambient noise tomography. Well corresponding to widespread mid‐crustal low‐velocity zones in the VSV ${V}_{SV}$ model, a pronounced mid‐crustal channel of positive radial anisotropy is revealed.

Application of integrated geophysical techniques in geothermal exploration in Binhai County, Jiangsu Province

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, Volume 3, Issue 3, Page 338-348, September 2024.
The comprehensive geophysical results are in agreement with each other and are in good agreement with the geological and geothermal well formation data, which indicates that the application of integrated geophysical technology is effective for geothermal exploration in Binhai County, Jiangsu Province, and improves the reliability of the exploration ...

Huff-n-puff experiments of mixed CO2 and formation water for enhanced oil recovery of shale oil in the Subei Basin

open access: yesMeitian dizhi yu kantan
ObjectiveIn the Subei Basin, the depletion-drive development of shale oil following reservoir volume fracturing faces challenges such as rapid production decline and low oil recovery. To address these issues, this study explored an experimental method of

Oligocene clockwise rotations along the eastern Pamir: Tectonic and paleogeographic implications

open access: yes, 2014
International audienceDespite the importance of the Pamir range in controlling Asian paleoenvironments and land-sea paleogeography, its tectonic evolution remains poorly constrained in time and space, hindering its potential for understanding deep to ...

CSRM‐1.0: A China Seismological Reference Model

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, Volume 129, Issue 9, September 2024.
Abstract High‐resolution seismic model is crucial for advancing our understandings on geological processes and enhancing seismic hazard mitigation programs. We construct a high‐resolution China Seismological Reference Model (CSRM‐1.0) in the top 100 km of the crust and uppermost mantle in continental China following a top‐down construction process. The

Dicussion on well selection conditions of CO2 huff and puff in low permeability reservoir

open access: yesYouqicang pingjia yu kaifa, 2019
Low permeability reservoirs are widely distributed in Subei(northern Jiangsu province) Basin. There are some problems such as insufficient natural energy and fragmented structures, which make it difficult to form an effective injection-production well ...

Fluid evolution of fracture veins of Paleogene Funing Formation in well HY1 in Subei Basin and implications for shale oil filling

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi
A significant breakthrough has been made in the exploration and development of shale oil in the Subei Basin. Cores from well HY1 in the Gaoyou Sag of Subei Basin indicate the presence of well-developed natural fractures within the organic-rich shale of ...

Late Paleocene Paleoclimate recorded in halite deposits in Subei basin ,East China

open access: yes
Abstract Salt deposits correspond to relatively extreme climate events. However, due to insufficient independent temperature proxies, there is a lack of paleotemperature records obtained from salt laminae deposition .The Paleocene evaporite sequence deposited in the Hongze Depression of Subei Basin provides an important terrestrial sediment ...

Population genetic patterns across the native and invasive range of a widely distributed seagrass: Phylogeographic structure, invasive history and conservation implications

open access: yesDiversity and Distributions, Volume 30, Issue 3, March 2024.
Abstract Aim The seagrass Zostera japonica is a dramatically declined endemic species in the Northwestern Pacific from the (sub)tropical to temperate areas, however, it is also an introduced species along the Pacific coast of North America from British Columbia to northern California.

Discovery and significance of Cretaceous-Paleogene freshwater foraminifera in Subei-South Yellow Sea Basin

open access: yesShiyou shiyan dizhi, 2021
In previous studies, the "marine facies" fossils in the second member of Taizhou Formation and the second and fourth members of Funing Formation of the Subei-South Yellow Sea Basin were generally considered to be organisms associated with transgression and organisms that lived in saline lakes. However, after reviewing the data, this theory proved to be
