, 2012 A re-description and new records of Onthophagus viriditinctus Reitter, 1892 (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Scarabaeinae: Onthophagini), an uncommon species from Iran, are provided. The taxonomic position and some nomenclatural problems are discussed.

Insect Conservation and Diversity, EarlyView.We collected ground‐nesting bees at 35 farms over two summers and assessed their abundance, diversity, and community composition in relation to local soil characteristics (texture, compaction, slope, and ground cover). Ground‐nesting bee abundance and species richness increased with bare ground and sand content.
