Subgrid Scale Models for Homogeneous Anisotropic Turbulence
1986A statistical model is used to study the subgrid scale modelling problem for homogeneous turbulence. Pressure and transfer effects of the subgrid scales are modelled for wavenumbers small relative to the filter cut. The model is then extended to the complete wavenumber range from very large scales to the filter cut.
