Invariance groups of finite functions and orbit equivalence of permutation groups
Which subgroups of the symmetric group Sn arise as invariance groups of n-variable functions defined on a k-element domain? It appears that the higher the difference n-k, the more difficult it is to answer this question.

Subgroups of small Index in infinite Symmetric Groups
Let \(\Omega\) be an infinite set having cardinality \(n:=| \Omega |\), and let \(S:=Sym(\Omega)\) be its symmetric group having then cardinality \(2^ n\). Moreover, let G be a subgroup of S and let \(S_{\{\Delta \}}\) or \(G_{\{\Delta \}}\) be the setwise stabilizer of \(\Delta\) in S or in G, respectively, for each subset \(\Delta\subseteq \Omega ...

Automorphisms of Some Magmas of Order $k+k^2$
This paper is devoted to the study of automorphisms of finite magmas and to the representation of the symmetric permutation group $ S_k $ and some of its subgroups by automorphism groups of finite magmas.

A New Type of Soft Group: Soft Symmetric Difference Group with Group Theory Applications
In this paper, a new type of soft group called the soft symmetric difference group (SSD-group) is introduced and systematically developed. This structure is constructed by integrating soft set theory with group theory through the symmetric difference ...

Symmetries of the refined D1/D5 BPS spectrum
We examine the large N 1/4-BPS spectrum of the symmetric orbifold CFT Sym N (M ) deformed to the supergravity point in moduli space for M = K3 and T 4.

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Enlarging a Free Subgroup of a Symmetric Group Freely [PDF]
Free subgroups, the elements of which have ample cycles in their cycle decompositions, are enlarged to free subgroups of an infinite symmetric group by the specific construction of one more free generator.

ABSTRACT Background and Purpose White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are a core neuroimaging marker of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD). Sleep apnoea (SA) is a recognized vascular risk factor, but its associations with regional WMH burden, short‐interval WMH change and cognitive performance in population‐based cohorts remain incompletely defined. We
