The Twenty-Fifth Amendment: A Personal Remembrance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this Article, John D. Feerick describes his work on issues relating to presidential succession and disability—spanning from just after his graduation from Fordham Law School in 1961 to the present.

Two-Species Annihilation with Drift: A Model with Continuous Concentration-Decay Exponents

open access: yes, 1995
We propose a model for diffusion-limited annihilation of two species, $A+B\to A$ or $B$, where the motion of the particles is subject to a drift. For equal initial concentrations of the two species, the density follows a power-law decay for large times ...

Evaluating Energy Absorption Performance of Filled Lattice Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Maximum stress must be considered to robustly evaluate energy absorber designs. This approach was applied to compare all types of absorbers in a single Ashby diagram and determine the utility of filling lattice voids with a second material. High‐performance fillers can improve the performance of lattices that are limited by buckling or catastrophic ...

Resistance Rapid Heating of Aluminum Coatings in an Extreme High Vacuum–Adequate Atmosphere for Hot Stamping

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The subject of this work is the development of a corrosion‐protective coating on steel sheets for form hardening. Rapid heating in an extreme high vacuum (XHV)‐adequate atmosphere is a useful method to prevent oxidation during alloying of 22MnB5 and aluminum to obtain a metallurgical bonding.

Toward Low‐Consumable Anodes: Process Simulation and Prospective Life Cycle Assessment of NiFe2O4‐NiO‐Ni‐Cu vs. Prebaked Anodes for Aluminum Production with use of Molten Salt Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐consumable nickel ferrite‐based anodes for the Hall–Héroult process are compared with conventional prebaked carbon anodes using thermodynamic simulation and prospective life cycle assessment under contrasting future electricity system pathways from 2025 to 2050.

ON THE COMPARATIVE LAW METHOD AND ITS MISINTERPRETATION

open access: yesПравовое государство: теория и практика
Can the comparative law method be used for internal comparison? For example, when we compare two national legal institutions, two national legal mechanisms, two national branches of law? The response should be negative. Without a foreign (or geographical)

Secondary Sources: Top Ten [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Secondary sources are a legal researcher\u27s best friend. They are a great place to begin researching a new topic as they provide a framework for understanding the subject.

Multifunctional Crushing and Piezoresistive Self‐Sensing in Conductive Epoxy/CNT‐Coated Polyetherimide TPMS Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.

General and specific legal disciplines, with a brief overview of introduction to law [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Radova Pravnog Fakulteta u Nišu, 2019
The state and law exist, both realistically in time and space and ideally as a set of pure ideas and values in time, as contents of consciousness and mental processes. Legal sciences fall into the group of social sciences. The cradle of legal sciences is
