Interleukin‐1α Mediates Pancreatic Fibroblast Activation, Regulates Immune Cell Recruitment and Fibrosis in Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis

During pancreatitis, IL‐1α is released from necrotic acinar cells. In response to IL‐1α, pancreatic fibroblasts release chemokines and cytokines that regulate the recruitment of immune cells to the damaged organ. Furthermore, IL‐1α primes fibroblasts, resulting in increased tissue fibrosis during chronic pancreatitis.

Multifunctional Quantum Sensing Using Single Spins in a van der Waals Crystal

The work demonstrates a dual quantum sensing of temperature and magnetic field using spin‐complex quantum emitters in hexagonal boron nitride (hBN). Temperature sensing via zero‐phonon‐line shifts and magnetometry via optically detected magnetic resonances, enable simultaneous local thermometry and magnetic‐field measurements.

Stochastic‐MTJ Sampler Arrays for In‐Array Monte–Carlo Estimation

A low‐energy‐barrier magnetic tunnel junction array is operated as a probability‐domain sampler: each cell's random switching, programmed through a shared digital‐to‐analog converter, makes the per‐column multiply–accumulate an unbiased Monte–Carlo expectation estimator that returns both a mean and a calibrated uncertainty.
