Facile one‐step synthesis of efficient hybridized local and charge transfer emitter for ultraviolet electroluminescence with low roll‐off

An effective hybridized local and charge‐transfer emitter D3CZ4F featuring multiple C–H⋯F locking interactions was developed, achieving an outstanding EQE of 8.97%, a small roll‐off, an emission peak at 388 nm, and color coordinates of (0.165, 0.025), respectively.

Bi[IrBi6I12], Ag3[IrBi6I12], and BixCu3–3x[IrBi6I12]: Rock‐Salt Superstructures Based on Heavy‐Atom Clusters

New iridium‐containing bismuth subiodides based on cuboctahedral [IrBi6I12]3− clusters adopt chain‐like or rock‐salt‐related structure variants depending on the counter‐cations. Ag3[IrBi6I12] combines silver mobility at room temperature with long‐range ordering at low temperature, while DFT calculations reveal semiconducting behavior.
