Seed‐mediated self‐driven nucleation growth of doped monolayer WS2 film
A self‐driven nucleation strategy using the high surface energy of step sapphire substrates was employed to promote the nucleation of dopant precursors anchored at the step edges. This method alleviates the severe issue of dopant metal source enrichment at the material edges during the substitutional doping growth.

Efficient Computation of the Quantum Rate-Distortion Function [PDF]
The quantum rate-distortion function plays a fundamental role in quantum information theory, however there is currently no practical algorithm which can efficiently compute this function to high accuracy for moderate channel dimensions. In this paper, we

Martingale Problem under Nonlinear Expectations [PDF]
We formulate and solve the martingale problem in a nonlinear expectation space. Unlike the classical work of Stroock and Varadhan (1969) where the linear operator in the associated PDE is naturally defined from the corresponding diffusion process, the ...

A Parallelized 3D Geomechanical Solver for Fluid‐Induced Fault Slip in Poroelastic Media
ABSTRACT We present a fully implicit formulation of coupled fluid flow and geomechanics for fluid injection/withdrawal in fractured reservoirs in the context of CO2$\textrm {CO}_2$ storage. Utilizing a Galerkin finite‐element approach, both flow and poroelasticity equations are discretized on a shared three‐dimensional mesh.

In this paper, we study a class of Kirchhoff-type double phase equations with sublinear terms and two parameters in the framework of variable exponent function spaces. By employing a variant of the critical point theorem due to G.

An Exact Method for Reliable Shortest Path Problems With Correlation
ABSTRACT Shortest path problems often arise in contexts where travel times are uncertain. In these settings, reliable paths are often valued more than paths with lower expected travel times. This has led to several variants of reliable shortest path problems (RSPP) that handle travel time reliability differently. We propose an algorithmic framework for

Uniqueness of positive solutions for cooperative Hamiltonian elliptic systems
The uniqueness of positive solution of a semilinear cooperative Hamiltonian elliptic system with two equations is proved for the case of sublinear and superlinear nonlinearities. Implicit function theorem, bifurcation theory, and ordinary differential

Comparison of experimental and model‐predicted erosion rates for carbon fibre‐reinforced polymer (CFRP) and glass fibre‐reinforced polymer (GFRP) under low‐velocity (2 m/s) and at varying angles and sand concentrations (0.0, 0.05, 0.4 g/L). The results demonstrate good agreement between experimental data and model predictions across different erosive ...

ABSTRACT In the Hainan–Guangdong interconnection project, oil leakage in oil‐filled cables required replacing the faulty core with a single core from a three‐core cross‐linked polyethylene (XLPE) cable, leading to mixed operation of XLPE and oil‐filled cables.
