ChemMedChem, Volume 21, Issue 10, 27 May 2026.A comparison of two structurally related prostate specific membrane antigen (PSMA)‐targeted fluorophores revealed that the substitution of the urea motif lysine‐urea‐glutamate (KuE) by a phosphinate leads to probes with low nanomolar PSMA‐affinity, good and specific tumor uptake, and low off‐target tissue retention in mice.
