Memristive Motion‐Streak Neuron for Spatiotemporal Multiple Object Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposes motion‐streak neuron hardware using amorphous In–Ga–Zn–O optoelectronic memristors and dynamic memristors for spatiotemporal multiple‐object detection. The motion streak neuron array processes optical and electrical stimuli, allowing speed‐dependent filament relaxation to encode motion trajectories.

Volatile Memristive Devices With Tunable Temporal Dynamics For Event‐Based Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Tunable volatile memristive devices can serve various neural‐inspired tasks that require different time windows of information retention. The ionic‐based volatility of the presented Pt/a‐STO/TaOx/Ta device stack can be reproducibly and controllably tuned in multiple ways.

Poly(Alkoxythiophene) Rod‐Coil Block Copolymers for Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We present the first synthesis of poly(3‐alkoxythiophene) rod‐coil block copolymers as a new architecture for OMIECs. Incorporating PEG and PLLA coils can enhance device performance beyond the homopolymer. The figure‐of‐merit depends uniquely on coil length.

Spectral Selective and Low‐Noise Thin‐Film Organic Photodetectors Enabled by Electric‐Field Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping redistributes the internal electric field in organic photodetectors, providing a new degree of freedom to spatially control carrier transport and collection. Simulations and experiments reveal distinct transport pathways for injected and photogenerated carriers, enabling low dark current under reverse bias and wavelength‐selective ...

Experimental Study on Optoelectronic Submarine Cable Used for Ship Radiation Noise Detection

open access: yesIEEE Access
In this study, we connected the DAS (distributed acoustic sensing) system to a 69-km optoelectronic submarine cable located in Hainan, China. A continuous four-day data collection was conducted to assess its potential for monitoring ship radiation noise.

Parity‐Dependent THz Harmonic Generation in Electrically Pumped Micro‐Lasers Exploiting Topological Insulator–Metamaterial Gratings

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Topological insulator–metamaterials integrated with electrically driven terahertz quantum cascade lasers enable parity‐dependent harmonic generation. Bulk‐dominated Bi2Se3 favors third‐harmonic emission at 9.96 THz, whereas topological‐surface‐state‐dominated Bi2Se3, Bi2Te3, and (Bi,Sb)2Te3 generate strong second harmonics near 6.5 THz.

Investigation on dynamic response of J-tube submarine cable around monopile foundation

open access: yesApplied Ocean Research
A series of numerical simulations are performed to investigate the dynamic response of J-tube submarine cable around monopile foundation. The variations of maximum curvature, maximum effective tension and motion amplitude with incident angle, significant

Study on the burial depth calculation method for AC submarine cable based on the surface optical fiber monitoring temperature

open access: yesIET Generation, Transmission & Distribution
The partial exposure of submarine cable may cause damage to the metal sheath, which will affect its safe and stable operation. Existing detection methods for burial depth of submarine cables are difficult to implement and have a long detection period. In
