DOWNHOLE REACTIVE POWER COMPENSATION

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений: Нефть и газ, 2015
The authors provide a method for compensation of the reactive power inside a well. In the environment Matlab/ Simylink a model was developed of the site of the electrical centrifugal pump unit power supply from the transformer substation. A comparison is

HEAT EXCHANGE DEVICE FOR SUBMERSIBLE ELECTRIC MOTORS OF ELECTRIC CENTRIFUGAL PUMP UNITS

open access: yesИзвестия Томского политехнического университета: Инжиниринг георесурсов, 2021
The relevance of the device development is caused by the need to solve the problems related to the cooling of high-speed valve and asynchronous submersible motors. The development of efficient cooling systems for such engines when using high-speed engines in low-flow wells is especially urgent, since the power of heat sources increases sharply ...

Programming of Complex Magnetic Profiles Enforced by 4D Printed Magnetic LCE Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A 4D printing‐enabled magnetic programming strategy is introduced in which thermally actuated liquid crystal elastomers are magnetized in their target shape to encode complex three‐dimensional magnetic profiles. The resulting actuators achieve multistate shape morphing and programmable locomotion under low magnetic fields, without requiring specialized

Dynamic Modeling and Simulation of Deep Geothermal Electric Submersible Pumping Systems

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Deep geothermal energy systems employ electric submersible pumps (ESPs) in order to lift geothermal fluid from the production well to the surface. However, rough downhole conditions and high flow rates impose heavy strain on the components, leading to ...

Unveiling Exsolution‐Induced Giant Electronic and Magnetic Property Changes in Non‐Stoichiometric Titanate Perovskite Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A giant insulator to metal transition and emergent superparamagnetism are revealed by nanoparticle exsolution in non‐stoichiometric titanate perovskite thin films. By combining transport, synchrotron spectroscopy, and first‐principles calculations, this work reveals how defect reconfiguration and lattice reconstruction fundamentally reshape electronic ...

A Geometrically Transient Platform for Bioelectronic Implants

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Minimally invasive bioelectronic implants often compromise performance for smaller sizes. To resolve this optimization dilemma, a wireless bioelectronic implant with a transient geometry is introduced (MiFi). The origami‐inspired device miniaturizes up to sixfold for syringe insertion and autonomously unfolds post‐implantation.
