Spaces of invariant circular orders of groups
Motivated by well known results in low-dimensional topology, we introduce and study a topology on the set CO(G) of all left-invariant circular orders on a fixed countable and discrete group G.

Abstract This paper is devoted to the approximation of two‐ and three‐dimensional Dirac operators HV∼δΣ$H_{\widetilde{V} \delta _\Sigma }$ with combinations of electrostatic and Lorentz scalar δ$\delta$‐shell interactions in the norm resolvent sense. Relying on results from Behrndt, Holzmann, and Stelzer‐Landauer [Math. Nachr.

On locally compact semitopological $0$-bisimple inverse $\omega$-semigroups
We describe the structure of Hausdorff locally compact semitopological $0$-bisimple inverse $\omega$-semigroups with compact maximal subgroups. In particular, we show that a Hausdorff locally compact semitopological $0$-bisimple inverse $\omega ...

Interaction of Dirac δ$$ \delta $$‐Waves in the Inviscid Levine and Sleeman Chemotaxis Model
ABSTRACT This article investigates interactions of δ$$ \delta $$‐shock waves in the inviscid Levine and Sleeman chemotaxis model ut−λ(uv)x=0$$ {u}_t-\lambda {(uv)}_x=0 $$, vt−ux=0$$ {v}_t-{u}_x=0 $$. The analysis employs a distributional product and a solution concept that extends the classical solution concept.

Quantitative Controllability Index of Complex Networks
In this paper, the controllability issue of complex network is discussed. A new quantitative index using knowledge of control centrality and condition number is constructed to measure the controllability of given networks.

Hesitant Fuzzy Topological Spaces
In this study, we define a hesitant fuzzy topology and base, obtain some of their properties, respectively, and give some examples. Next, we introduce the concepts of a hesitant fuzzy neighborhood, Q-neighborhood, closure, and interior and obtain some of

A glance into the anatomy of monotonic maps
Given an autohomeomorphism on an ordered topological space or its subspace, we show that it is sometimes possible to introduce a new topology-compatible order on that space so that the same map is monotonic with respect to the new ordering.

Shaped extensions of singular spectrum analysis [PDF]
Extensions of singular spectrum analysis (SSA) for processing of non-rectangular images and time series with gaps are considered. A circular version is suggested, which allows application of the method to the data given on a circle or on a cylinder, e.g.

Asymptotics for the Spectrum of the Laplacian in Thin Bars with Varying Cross Sections
ABSTRACT We consider spectral problems for the Laplace operator in 3D rod structures with a small cross section of diameter O(ε)$$ O\left(\varepsilon \right) $$, ε$$ \varepsilon $$ being a positive parameter. The boundary conditions are Dirichlet (Neumann, respectively) on the bases of this structure, and Neumann on the lateral boundary.
