Hybrid HMSIW Cavities Antenna With a Half-Pentagon Ring Slot for Bandwidth Enhancement
A substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) antenna is an implementation of a waveguide antenna in a microstrip antenna. The microstrip antenna, as a low-profile antenna, suffers from narrow impedance bandwidth.

The NNR‐n series of oligomeric nanographenes delivers exceptional emission performance. This work shows that this performance is originated by their ladder‐type structure, which effectively deactivates low‐frequency vibronic modes. This deactivation neglects the main pathway for non‐emissive deactivation, even in the near‐infrared region. The potential

New decoupled empty substrate integrated waveguide realisation [PDF]
A novel decoupled empty substrate integrated waveguide (DESIW), which enables AC/DC decoupling in any device that is integrated in it is presented. The decoupling strategy is performed throughout a micro‐milling square pattern of easy implementation that increases the insertion losses compared with the standard ESIW.
