The Forms and Structures of Chimpanzee Algae Fishing

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Primatology, Volume 88, Issue 6, June 2026.
We use a systematic, multi‐level framework to describe a recently reported chimpanzee tool use behavior—deep‐water algae fishing. Moyen‐Bafing chimpanzees combined 5 Grips and 4 Actions into 22 Techniques. Our data suggest that chimpanzees benefit from maintaining multiple flexible strategies for this dynamic foraging challenge.

5‐Methylcytosine Analysis of miRNAs in Minimal Change Disease

open access: yesBiotechnology and Applied Biochemistry, Volume 73, Issue 3, Page 1137-1150, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Minimal change disease (MCD) is a glomerular disorder, which is the most common cause of nephrotic syndrome in children. Additionally, the prevalence of MCD in adults has been increasing in recent years. During protein synthesis, noncoding RNAs can be regulated through a variety of modifications, which helps preserve biological diversity and ...

Core–Shell Interface Effect for Boosting Selective Oxidation of Methane to Formaldehyde Over Cu/SiO2@TiO2 Catalyst

open access: yesCarbon and Hydrogen, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 172-183, June 2026.
The core–shell Cu/m‐SiO2@TiO2 catalyst, featuring a tailored Si–O–Ti interface, enables highly dispersed CuOx species and optimized oxygen mobility, thereby significantly enhancing formaldehyde selectivity in the selective oxidation of methane through effectively suppressing overoxidation.
