Abstract This study evaluates the potential of a new organic fertilizer derived from porcine intestinal mucosa (designated BHE), a by‐product of the heparin extraction process, as a sustainable nitrogen (N) source for agriculture. The work was conducted in two stages: (i) chemical and spectroscopic characterization of BHE compared with poultry litter ...

North Atlantic Subtropical Mode Waters and Ocean Memory in HadCM3
Abstract A study of the formation and propagation of volume anomalies in North Atlantic Mode Waters is presented, based on 100 yr of monthly mean fields taken from the control run of the Third Hadley Centre Coupled Ocean–Atmosphere GCM (HadCM3). Analysis of the temporal and spatial variability in the thickness between pairs of isothermal

Mixing Accounts for More Than Half of Biogeochemical Changes Along Mode Water Ventilation Pathways
Mode waters are critical for ocean ventilation and carbon sequestration. Using observations, we trace their subduction pathways and biogeochemical evolution. Solving modified mixing equations that account for respiration reveals that less than 50% of the

The graphic illustrates the development of nuggets traditionally known as “wari” prepared with whole green grams and composite flour barnyard millet var. (PRJ‐1) and finger millet var. (VL‐M‐380) in a 1:1 ratio. The addition of millet significantly improved the nutritional value of nuggets, providing higher levels of protein, carbohydrates, fiber ...
