Successive algorithm for construction of equation of motion of constrained mechanical systems

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mechanics, 2002
The article devotes to the construction of equations of motion of constrained mechanical systems. The constraint conditions are successively appended to the already defined systems.

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Success probability in Shor's Algorithm

open access: yes
This paper aims to determine the exact success probability at each step of Shor's algorithm. Although the literature usually provides a lower bound on this probability, we present an improved bound. The derived formulas enable the identification of all failure cases in Shor's algorithm, which correspond to a success probability of zero.

BMI‐1 modulation and trafficking during M phase in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates BMI‐1 phosphorylation during M phase, which triggers its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cycling cells, BMI‐1 functions within the PRC1 complex to mediate H2A K119 monoubiquitination. Following PTC596‐induced M phase arrest, phosphorylated BMI‐1 dissociates from PRC1 and is exported to the cytoplasm via its

Applicability of mitotic figure counting by deep learning: a development and pan‐cancer validation study

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In this study, we developed a deep learning method for mitotic figure counting in H&E‐stained whole‐slide images and evaluated its prognostic impact in 13 external validation cohorts from seven different cancer types. Patients with more mitotic figures per mm2 had significantly worse patient outcome in all the studied cancer types except colorectal ...

Successive ESPRIT Algorithm for Joint DOA-Range-Polarization Estimation With Polarization Sensitive FDA-MIMO Radar

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
Polarization sensitive frequency and frequency diversity array (FDA)-MIMO (PSFDA-MIMO) hybrid radar is an emerging technology. The existing algorithms for parameter estimation with PSFDA-MIMO radar need multiple-dimensional searches, whose computational ...

Exon 7 splicing of ERα predicts poor prognosis and increases phenotypic heterogeneity in luminal a subtype breast cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

A coupling successive approximation method for solving Duffing equation and its application

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mechanics, 2014
The paper proposes an algorithm to solve a general Duffing equation, in which a process of transforming the initial equation to a resulting equation is proposed, and then the coupling successive approximation method is applied to solve the resulting ...

Efficient Algorithms for Electing Successive Committees

open access: yesProceedings of the Thirty-ThirdInternational Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence
In a recently introduced model of successive committee elections, for a given set of ordinal or approval preferences one aims to find a sequence of a given length of “best” same-size committees such that each candidate is a member of a limited number of consecutive committees.
