A Flip-Syndrome-List Polar Decoder Architecture for Ultra-Low-Latency Communications
We consider practical hardware implementation of polar decoders. To reduce latency due to the serial nature of successive cancellation, existing optimizations improve parallelism with two approaches, i.e., multi-bit decision or reduced path splitting. In

Complementarity of BOLD and ADC‐fMRI in Mapping Brain Visual Processing in the Rat
BOLD‐fMRI and ADC‐fMRI were acquired at 9.4 and 14 T during visual stimulation with variable frequency. BOLD‐fMRI showed robust positive/negative responses but depended on regional vascularization patterns. ADC‐fMRI was able to detect neural activity independently from vascular effects at 9.4 T.

Progressive Bit-Flipping Decoding of Polar Codes: A Critical-Set Based Tree Search Approach
In successive cancellation (SC) polar decoding, an incorrect estimate of any prior unfrozen bit may bring about severe error propagation in the following decoding, and thus it is desirable to find out and correct an error as early as possible.

Multi‐Agent Reinforcement Learning for Cyber Defence Transferability and Scalability
A method for using mutli‐agent reinforcement learning that allows for zero shot transfer across network setups. Diagrams show the local observation construction, training and agent mapping process. The results for novel 15 and 30 node networks show effective transfer and improved scaling performance. ABSTRACT Reinforcement learning (RL) has shown to be
