Sudden death and birth of entanglement in photonic crystals [PDF]
We explore the entanglement dynamics of two qubits embedded in one-dimensional (1D) and three-dimensional (3D) photonic crystals. Our 1D results show sudden death and sudden birth of the entanglement, restricted by the initial coherence and the population in the excited state as well as the detuning.

Acceleration-assisted entanglement harvesting and rangefinding
We study entanglement harvested from a quantum field through local interaction with Unruh–DeWitt detectors undergoing linear acceleration. The interactions allow entanglement to be swapped locally from the field to the detectors.

Sudden death and rebirth of entanglement for different dimensional systems driven by a classical random external field [PDF]
The entangled behavior of different dimensional systems driven by a classical external random field (CERF) is investigated. The amount of the survival entanglement between the components of each system is quantified.

Scaling laws for the decay of multiqubit entanglement [PDF]
We investigate the decay of entanglement of generalized N-particle Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states interacting with independent reservoirs. Scaling laws for the decay of entanglement and for its finite-time extinction (sudden death) are derived ...

Sudden death and birth of entanglement effects for Kerr-nonlinear coupler [PDF]
We analyse the entanglement dynamics in a nonlinear Kerr-like coupler interacting with external environment. Whenever the reservoir is in a thermal vacuum state the entanglement (measured by concurrence for a two-qubit system) exhibits regular oscillations of decreasing amplitude.

Gaussian quantum steering under the influence of a dilaton black hole
We study the dynamics of Gaussian quantum steering in the background of a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilaton black hole. It is found that the gravity induced by dilaton field will destroy the quantum steerability between the inertial observer Alice ...

Asymptotic Entanglement Dynamics and Geometry of Quantum States
A given dynamics for a composite quantum system can exhibit several distinct properties for the asymptotic entanglement behavior, like entanglement sudden death, asymptotic death of entanglement, sudden birth of entanglement, etc. A classification of the

Quantum adaptation of noisy channels
Probabilistic quantum filtering is proposed to properly adapt sequential independent quantum channels in order to stop sudden death of entanglement. In the adaptation, the quantum filtering does not distill or purify more entanglement, it rather properly

We explore the performance of various correlation measures for open Dirac system with Hawking effect in Schwarzschild space–time. Our results indicate that the impact of Hawking effect on physical accessible entanglement is weaker than that of ...
