Supplementation of Corn Stover With Oak Leaves and Wheat Bran for the Cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus

open access: yesJournal of Sustainable Agriculture and Environment, Volume 5, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT The use of wheat bran (WB) as a supplement in mushroom cultivation presents economic and sustainability concerns due to its competition with human food and livestock feed. This reliance increases production costs and limits accessibility for small‐scale growers.

Potential of the Predatory Mites Gamasellodes lavafesii (Mesostigmata: Ascidae) and Cosmolaelaps mediocuspis (Mesostigmata: Laelapidae) on Different Soil Pests/Parasites and Alternative Prey for Large‐Scale Rearing

open access: yesJournal of Applied Entomology, Volume 150, Issue 5, Page 562-572, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Many species of Mesostigmata soil mites have potential as biological control agents of pests/parasites. This study evaluated the predation potential of two of these species, Gamasellodes lavafesii (Ascidae) and Cosmolaelaps mediocuspis (Laelapidae).

A Hierarchical VvbHLH30‐VvERF70‐VvACS2 Module Orchestrates Ethylene Biosynthesis and Cold Adaptation in Grapevine

open access: yesPlant Biotechnology Journal, Volume 24, Issue 6, Page 4317-4341, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Ethylene is a key gaseous phytohormone that plays crucial roles in regulating plant growth, development and stress responses. However, ethylene‐associated biosynthetic and transcriptional regulatory mechanisms governing cold‐adaptation responses in plants remain poorly understood.

Analysis of Corporate Drivers of Carbon Intensity in Brazilian Sugarcane Mills

open access: yes
Abstract Renovabio is the Brazilian National Biofuels Policy. It aims to reduce the carbon intensity by 10% until 2030 by producing more biofuels. Ethanol is the main biofuel used in Brazil. The participating mills were evaluated by Renovabio, with an efficiency score calculated on the basis of the carbon intensity of the fuels produced.

Overview of the biological processes available for the treatment of sugarcane mill wastewater

open access: yes, 2006
