Representation of maxitive measures: an overview [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Idempotent integration is an analogue of Lebesgue integration where $\sigma$-maxitive measures replace $\sigma$-additive measures. In addition to reviewing and unifying several Radon--Nikodym like theorems proven in the literature for the idempotent ...

Navigating the Stormy Waters of Regulation: An Agent‐Based Modeling and Decision‐Support Framework for Groundwater Compliance and Enforcement

open access: yesWater Resources Research, Volume 62, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract Water resources sustainability hinges upon an efficient and effective regulatory compliance and enforcement strategy that steers the collective actions of interdependent stakeholders. Achieving this goal is particularly challenging for groundwater due to its hidden nature, significant knowledge gaps about its state, its status as a common‐pool

Does Context Matter? ESG‐Contingent Effects of Board Cultural Diversity on Corporate Capital Investments

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Volume 33, Issue 1, Page 236-259, January 2026.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how board cultural diversity and the moderating role of ESG performance affect corporate capital investment activity, proxied by the net investment ratio, in European listed non‐financial companies from 2014 to 2023. It explores these dynamics considering institutional differences across Anglo‐Saxon, continental, and ...

Enhancing Hybrid Microgrid Dynamics Using an Agent‐Based Reinforcement Learning (RL) Framework

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 1, Page 144-162, January 2026.
Overview of (RL) framework ABSTRACT Hybrid microgrids, integrating renewable, and conventional energy sources are critical for sustainable and resilient power systems. Their dynamic performance is affected by uncertainties in load demand, generation variability, and control strategies.

System reliability and weighted lattice polynomials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The lifetime of a system of connected units under some natural assumptions can be represented as a random variable Y defined as a weighted lattice polynomial of random lifetimes of its components.

Fuzzy postprocessing of seasonal climate forecasts for semiarid river basins

open access: yesQuarterly Journal of the Royal Meteorological Society, Volume 152, Issue 775, January 2026 Part B.
Meteorological forecasts from AI‐based fuzzy rule‐based system (FRB) are compared to linear scaling (LS) and quantile mapping (QM). Seasonal forecasts from the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) are considered. Results show that the highest skill is achieved for the FRB approach.

Solution to Asymptotic Stability in Tracking Control of Nonlinear Systems With Control Input Differentiation, Actuator Dynamics, and Saturation Constraints

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The work delivers a rigorous mathematical framework for asymptotic tracking in nonlinear systems that explicitly include control‐input derivatives, actuator dynamics, and input saturation, with Lyapunov‐based proofs establishing convergence and robustness under their coupled effects.

Integral Inequalities for Vector (Multi)functions

open access: yesAxioms
We present some integral inequalities such as Minkowski-type and optimal bound-type for vector functions and vector multifunctions for different kinds of integrals: G-integral, Choquet-type integral, and Sugeno-type integral.

Dissipativity Analysis and Control for Takagi‐Sugeno Fuzzy Systems Under Sampled‐data Control via a Sampling‐point‐dependent Lyapunov Functional

open access: yesIET Control Theory &Applications, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
The main contribution of this paper is the consideration of information throughout the entire sampling period. By proposing a sampling point‐dependent Lyapunov functional, a new dissipative criterion and a sampled‐data control strategy are derived through the application of free‐matrix‐based integral inequalities.

Invariant functionals on completely distributive lattices

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper we are interested in functionals defined on completely distributive lattices and which are invariant under mappings preserving {arbitrary} joins and meets.
