2020Suicide is a multifactorial complex phenomenon and a huge public health problem. One of the complexities of suicide behavior is the gender paradox. Worldwide, although women are about three times more likely to attempt suicide, men are around three times more likely to die from suicide. The only country exception to this rule is China.
