A two‐step DNA metallization process is presented for the modular assembly of metal sulfide nanoparticles (NPs) on MoS2, with nanoscale control over their separation and ability to concomitantly assemble different kind of NPs. This allowed to tailor the photoinduced electrical response of phototransistors to different wavelengths, according to the ...

High Thermoelectric Performance in Low‐Cost Cu8SiSxSe6‐x Argyrodite
This study discovers the great potential of Cu8SiSxSe6‐x argyrodites as new, low‐cost, Te‐free thermoelectric materials. The proposed defect scheme suppresses the phase transition, enhances the weighted mobility and optimizes the grain boundary contacts.

Na2S Presodiation Enables Long Cycling Anode‐Free Sodium Batteries via Rapid Spontaneous Reactions
Na2S with high sodium content is utilized as a sodium replenishment material for AFSBs. The spontaneous reaction between polysulfides and Na3−xV2(PO4)3, complete conversion from Na2S to sulfur is achieved under low voltage and catalyst‐free conditions. With the assistance of the additionally supplied sodium ions, the Na2S@NVP||Zn AFSBs retain 70.8% of ...

The effect of manganese and silicon additions on the corrosion resistance of a polycrystalline nickel-based superalloy [PDF]
The service lives of nickel superalloys are often limited by environmental degradation. The present study compares oxidation, sulfidation and hot corrosion at 750C of three variants of a polycrystalline superalloy: a baseline alloy, a variant containing 1wt% Mn and one containing 0.5wt% Si.
