Enhancement of Chemical Stability of Sulfonated Polyvinylidene Fluoride Proton‐Conducting Membranes by Ceria Incorporation

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
The chemical stability of SPVDF membranes was examined using Fenton's reagent test. It was found that the chemical stability of membranes was enhanced from around 80% to 96% by integration of ceria in the membranes. The ability of ceria to toggle between the two oxidation states was responsible for this enhancement.

Gas–liquid mass transfer enhancement in the presence of nanoparticles under slug flow in microreactors

open access: yesAIChE Journal, Volume 72, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract Nanofluids containing nanoparticles represent a promising solvent or reaction system for gas–liquid operations. Herein, the effect of nanoparticle (Al2O3 and SiO2) addition on gas–liquid slug flow pattern and mass transfer enhancement was investigated during CO2 absorption into water in microreactors.
