In Situ EQCM‐D Investigations of PEMFC Catalyst‐Ionomer Interactions
Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring measurements on Nafion‐coated platinum, carbon, and gold electrodes, as well as spray‐coated proton exchange membrane fuel cell electrodes, were performed in 0.5 M H2SO4 and 0.1 M HClO4. These reveal ionomer hydration and surface interactions during electrochemical cycling.
