Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Scalable Polyelectrolyte Complex‐Based Sorbent With Hourly Sorption−Desorption Cycles for Multicyclic Atmospheric Water Harvesting in Arid Environments

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A polyelectrolyte complex‐based sorbent is produced by scalable, environmentally benign aqueous phase inversion. Its porous, LiCl‐ and GO‐integrated architecture enables hourly adsorption−desorption cycles at low relative humidity (RH < 30%). A large‐scale prototype achieves multicyclic, solar‐driven atmospheric water harvesting of 1.37 L kg−1 day−1 ...

Integration of Low‐Voltage Nanoscale MoS2 Memristors on CMOS Microchips

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This article presents the first monolithic integration of nanoscale MoS2‐based memristors into the back‐end‐of‐line of foundry‐fabricated CMOS microchips in a one‐transistor‐one‐resistor (1T1R) architecture. The MoS2‐based 1T1R cells exhibit forming‐free, nonvolatile resistive switching with ultra‐low operating voltages, low cycle‐to‐cycle variability ...

Investigation of the effectiveness of the use of various substances for dust suppression during the transshipment of granular sulfur

open access: yesЗаписки Горного института
The article is devoted to the problem of dusting during the transshipment of granular sulfur and existing methods of dust suppression. The analysis of various methods for reducing dust emission at granulated sulfur storage and transportation facilities ...

Use of Innovative Compounds to Manage Grapevine Downy and Powdery Mildews: Results of a Three-Year Field Trial

open access: yesAgronomy
Induced resistance (IR) based on elicitors application aims to strengthen plant defenses, rather than directly targeting pathogens. These compounds are less toxic than conventional pesticides and are useful in reducing their use.

Contribution of Type Ia and Type II Supernovae for Intra-Cluster Medium Enrichment

open access: yes, 1998
The origin of the chemical composition of the intracluster medium (ICM) is discussed in this paper. In particular, the contribution from Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) to the ICM enrichment is shown to exist by adopting the fitting formulas which have been ...

The biogeochemistry of the suboxic and anoxic zones in the cariaco basin Biogeoquímica de las zonas subóxica y anóxica en la fosa de cariaco

open access: yesGayana, 2006
A decade-long study of the Cariaco Basin has demonstrated that the suboxic interface in this system is temporally and spatially variable and that it is the home for a diverse and active microbial community. The thickness and structure of the suboxic zone

Sulfur‐to‐Iron Ratio as a Proxy for Degree of Organic Sulfurization

open access: yesGeochemistry, Geophysics, Geosystems
The degree of organic sulfurization is broadly relevant yet underreported. We present a statistically significant correlation between whole rock S/Fe and the measured degree of organic sulfurization in the thermally immature Cenomanian–Turonian Eagle ...
