EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Investigation of General Power Sum-Connectivity Index for Some Classes of Extremal Graphs

open access: yesComplexity, 2021
In this work, we introduce a new topological index called a general power sum-connectivity index and we discuss this graph invariant for some classes of extremal graphs.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Eccentric connectivity index and eccentric distance sum of some graph operations [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions on Combinatorics, 2013
Let $G=(V,E)$ be a connected graph. The eccentric connectivity index of $G$, $xi^{c}(G)$, is defined as $xi^{c}(G)=sum_{vin V(G)}deg(v)ec(v)$, where $deg(v)$ is the degree of a vertex $v$ and $ec(v)$ is its eccentricity. The eccentric distance sum of $G$

Certain topological indices and polynomials for the semitotal-point graph and line graph of semitotal-point graph for Dutch windmill graph

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Combinatorics, 2020
Dutch windmill graph [1, 2] and denoted by Dnm. Order and size of Dutch windmill graph are (n−1)m+1 and mn respectively. In this paper, we computed certain topological indices and polynomials i.e.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...

UiO‐66 metal–organic frameworks in biomedicine: From structural tunability to bioimaging, photodiagnostics, and photodynamic cancer therapy

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
UiO‐66(Zr) metal–organic frameworks are chemically stable, biocompatible, and highly tunable nanomaterials. Their modular structure enables controlled drug delivery, multimodal bioimaging, and light‐activated photodynamic therapy, supporting integrated diagnostic and therapeutic (theranostic) applications in cancer and biomedical research.
