Here we update the cancer prevention recommendations on ultraviolet radiation and indoor radon gas, listed at positions 8 and 10 of the 5th edition of the European Code Against Cancer (ECAC5). Individuals are advised to avoid too much sun, use sun protection and never use sunbeds.
